Flint to return next season Good news for the IHL came today as Flint's ownership announced they are returning next season. Many thought Flint would not even make it through this season but ownership spoke with Flint Journal's Brendan Savage and not only will they make it through this year they will return next year despite a huge financial loss. They are having a press conference later in the week to announce changes they are making to the ownership group. Remember this is important because if the IHL goes under 6 teams it would have to fold due to visa's being voided.

Now contrary to what people think, it looks as if the Icehawks are returning next year as well. Though once again low attendance numbers are coming in, they are actually steadily going up from last season. Also when the Icehawks came to Port Huron they had a 3 year plan in place. So if you were to ask what is the percentage of the Icehawks returning next season I'd confidently say 99%. So keep supporting your Icehawks!
Remember the Icehawks return to action this Wednesday when they travel to Fort Wayne. Game time is 7:30. Be sure to catch the action on 1450 AM and 1590 AM Add a comment
