CITY OF PORT HURON MAILS 2009 WINTER TAX BILLS

Edward Brennan, Controller/City Treasurer of the City of Port Huron announced today that they will mail the 2009 winter tax bills on Wednesday, November 25, 2009. These bills may be paid without penalty on or before February 15, 2010. A four (4) percent penalty is imposed after the February 15th deadline.

Tax rate per $1,000 of Taxable Value is as follows:

St. Clair County Drug Force - voted .2803
St. Clair County Library - voted .7000
St. Clair County Parks - voted .4954
Senior Citizen - voted .5000
Total Tax Rate $ 1.9757
