ROLL OUT MEETING HELD FOR NEW DOWNTOWN PORT HURON

A meeting was held on November 18th to sort of introduce what the new Downtown Port Huron will look like. It appears that it will pretty much follow the same format as before. Lee Ann Peart was introduced as the point person. Varying reports are being heard as to how happy the downtown business owners are. At this time the general consensus is that they (the city) are going to do what they want. It's here so they feel they just have to make the best of it. Some are outraged at the city taking control. The Community News will continue to update on how this is progressing.
